Welcome to the December 2009 Update from 2-Let
We’d like to start by wishing all our Advertisers and Registered Users a very Happy Christmas. If you’re a Registered User still thinking about advertising with us now is a good time to activate your account (www.2-Let.co.uk/invoices.asp) to ensure you make the most of the peak enquiry period over Christmas and the New Year.
We are pleased to announce yet another addition the 2-Let website – we can now feed details of the rental properties advertised with us through to Google Base / Froogle. We believe that this should result in an increase in the number of enquiries property owners receive via 2-Let. If you want us to feed the details of your rental property to Google you need to do 2 things –
1. Add the exact address of your rental property to the details we hold. This can be done by completing the information towards the bottom of the “Amend this Property” page accessed from www.2-Let.co.uk/edit_property.asp. We will not display the information on the 2-Let website, but Google insist we pass it and they may display it now or in the future.
2. There needs to at least one future dated rental price for your property – these can be added using the “Add / amend prices” page accessed from www.2-Let.co.uk/edit_property.asp. Again this is a Google condition.
If you do not want details of your property passing to Google you can either “uncheck” the Google feed tickbox on the “Amend this property” page or just don’t add the details of the rental property address.
In preparation for the 2010 season now is also the ideal time to ensure that both your property prices and availability for the coming year are updated.
Finally a reminder that the "Property of the Month" slots from March 2010 are still available, priced at just £10 per month. These give you the opportunity to feature your property on every page of the 2-Let website, with both an image and some brief text on the left hand margin of each page, for a full calendar month.
