Coral Cliff House is on the old Maynards sugar plantation to the north of Speightstown on the north west coast and just inland from Port St. Charles marina. Situated on a ridge about quarter of a mile inland, the first impressions are the elevated position, the lush tropical garden, and the views of the west coast and out to the Caribbean sea.
The house was built in the early 1970s as a family home with the specific design of a Z-shaped floor plan so that all the rooms take full advantage of the cooling Trade Winds, It features several outdoor living spaces, a swimming pool with paved surrounds, and is set in a one-acre garden providing privacy and tranquillity without being isolated.
One very special non-built-in feature of the position of the house is the sunset. It is an unforgettable moment to sit on the patio watching the display of colours as the sun sinks into the Caribbean sea, and absorb the calm of the garden. This is your “island in the sun”. |
