As a family we have been holidaying in Menorca now since 1973. Villa Arran was our first venture but very soon we wanted the pleasure of a swimming pool and so in the early 1980s we purchased Villa Bute and built Villa Ailsa Craig with a good sized pool which is now heated. In the late 80's Villa Iona became available for purchase which then completed our exclusive little square. The standard of our villas is important to us and so each villa now has it sown private heated swimming pool

Villa Ailsa Craig consists of a lounge /dining room, a double bedroom and two twin bedded rooms There are two bathrooms with bath &/ shower.

The kitchen has ample supplies of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils It has a cooker (with grill and oven) and also a microwave oven. There ia a dish washer and a washing machine. |
| Living area : |
The lounge is tastefully furnished with a comfortable settee/sofa-bed and easy chairs. There is satellite TV, DVD player and radio. There is a plentiful supply of books and children's games. |

The dining area has a large table which can accommodate 8 and more than enough dining room chairs to meet that number. |
| Bathroom(s) : |
Both bathrooms are tastefully tiled throughout The first bathroom has bath/shower, WC & WHB. The second has a shower, WC and WHB. |
| Bedroom(s) : |
The large master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and drawers. There is sufficient room here to add a cot if required. The other bedrooms each have twin beds, fitted wardrobes and drawers. Hairdryers are available. |

The villa has a well tended planted area to the front and a large paved terrace towards the rear, surrounding the pool with loungers, easy chairs table and sunshades. |

Air conditioning has been installed to cool the villa in the extreme heat and also provide heating in the chillier spring & autumn evenings. The pool is 10m by 5m. Heating has been installed which is operational in Spring & Autumn ,

| Resort description : |
Cala’n Porter was one of the first holiday resorts to be developed on the beautiful, peaceful island of Menorca and has something to offer everyone. Situated on the south coast and only 10 minutes away from the airport, it has a lovely sandy horseshoe shaped bay which is ideal for swimming or simply for relaxing while the young children build their sand castles. For the older family members there is plenty of firm sand towards the back of the beach for ball games. Pedalos, beach umbrellas and loungers are available for hire and on the paved promenade there are restaurants to provide meals, drinks and snacks.
In the centre of the resort there are several supermarkets which provide all your everyday requirements and when you just want to eat out you will find a large variety of restaurants all within walking distance.
Mahon, the capital of Menorca, is only a 15 min car ride away and for those who want to forget about driving there is an hourly bus service. It’s waterfront provides a picturesque setting with many visiting yachts & ferries.
